Who I am

This website, hopexmusic.com, is the official website of HOPEX, an electronic music producer based in the Netherlands. Questions about this policy or your data can be sent .

What data is collected

Purchases. The shop checkout is handled entirely by Payhip. When you buy the drumkit, your name, email address and payment details are processed by Payhip and its payment providers — not by this website. See the Payhip privacy policy for details. I receive your email address from Payhip so the download can be delivered and for customer support.

Newsletter. If you subscribe to the newsletter, your email address is stored with the mailing service used to send the newsletter, and is used only to send you news, releases and discount offers. Every email contains an unsubscribe link; unsubscribing removes your address.

No accounts, no tracking by default. This site does not require accounts and does not set cookies of its own.

Embedded content

The releases page embeds players from Spotify and YouTube. These load only when you scroll to them or click them, and once loaded, those services may set their own cookies under their own privacy policies. YouTube embeds use YouTube's privacy-enhanced (no-cookie) mode.

Hosting

This site is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub may log technical request data such as IP addresses for security purposes — see the GitHub privacy statement.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. Contact me and I will take care of it.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new "last updated" date.
